With Oconee Hospitality, Meghan’s goal is two-fold: treat your home as her own while making sure every guest leaves wanting to come back.
Our Roots
How It All Started
A native to the area, Meghan Ketterman founded Oconee Hospitality LLC, a home management company focused exclusively on short term rentals in the foothills mountain lake region of Oconee County.
Meghan and her husband Jared opened their first short term rental through Airbnb in October 2017 and have continued to learn, grow, and develop their business. They have since expanded, helping other vacation home owners offer the best guest experience.
Meghan and Jared love creating and designing spaces for guests that draw them back time and time again. A cove on Lake Keowee, a ridge in the foothills, or a spot up in the mountains: Meghan puts her personal touch in everything from communicating with guests and offering design services to personalizing the first impression when a guest arrives.
Life Outside the Business
A 16-time Airbnb Superhost
Meghan and Jared reside in Mountain Rest with their two dog-ters, Smurfy and Molly. In her spare time, you can find Meghan canning vegetables, working on her family farm, rehabbing thrift store furniture, paddle boarding on the lake, and spending time with friends and family.
Over the years, she and Jared have personally hosted thousands of guests from all corners of the world. As a 16-time Airbnb Superhost, Meghan holds a 4.95 star rating with over 1,000 reviews, a track record that speaks for itself in Oconee County.

Overall, my dog and I had a great time. The area had lots of restaurants, that were dog friendly, we could easily walk to. The place was very well kept and very nice. Overall I would stay here again.
